Second of all, thank you thank you thank you so much for reccing it to me all those months ago! It’s one of those books that I just find myself thinking about on occasion, whether about the technical brilliance of its art and storytelling, or a particular scene that gets me right in the gut, or the grander themes it raises about culture & identity/culture vs. identity, and love and death and…GAH! BRB REREADING IT!
