Urban Outfitters got an exclusive (and somewhat mysterious) interview with the woman who was my favorite graphic designer before I even knew what “graphic design” meant— Lisa Frank!

OK, so she’s not technically in comics, but she had a definite artistic impact on the girls of the ’80s and ’90s, and she totes has a giant comic strip hanging on the wall of her office!
