Artists! Create a Genie, Win $100!
Air and Mystic writer G. Willow Wilson has her first novel out, Alif the Unseen, and she’s throwing an art contest for it.
In the world of Alif, genies or jinn feature quite heavily. The book’s website helpfully provides a guide to jinn and how to recognize them (and avoid if need be) in your online forays. And if you send in your own depiction of your favorite kind of jinn, you’ll be entered to win a $100 gift certificate to a local bookstore, a panel from Cairo, and a signed copy of Alif the Unseen; second and third prize winners will also received signed copies.
