I fear I may have unintentionally insulted some people now, instead of enthusiastically complimenting them. Oops.

WHAT.  Brits, am I to understand that, therefore, your greatest television program ever devised, QI (“Quite Interesting”), is named ironically?  

Why would you do such a thing? No wonder the BBC doesn’t think it would sell over here, thus forcing me into a life of piracy!
